Random Thoughts Near an Ocean

I was on a beach in Miami, not long after meditating a thought came to me. It was important enough to take note so I saved it to my phone; I’d like to share it here now. Anytime we say ‘life is hard’ we are giving our power away. We are coming from a disempowered state, a state of victimhood. As if our life is out of our control. We forget that life doesn’t happen to us, we create our life/our circumstances by our perceptions and reactions. Imagine yourself in what seems to be insurmountable circumstances and being grateful for them. In that moment you choose a higher perspective, one that feels grounded and in control. You don’t know the outcome, all you know with certainty, is that the universe has your best interest in mind. Struggles and detours are put on our path to help us grow and evolve, so if you’ve had many struggles, congratulations you’re growing! Don’t ever give your power away by saying ‘life is hard’. If it’s hard, it’s because we make it so. Know that you have the power, the ability to create your reality. We get to choose, we get to create!
